NSB Type 69 EMUs form the backbone of most regional and local trains across the country and are of early 1970s vintage, although new Stadler carts are on order to replace them fairly soon I think. This is 69661 with a Oslo-Gjovik working at Kjelsas. This northern suburb of Oslo is just a short work from Lake Maridalsvannet which provides most of Oslo’s drinking water.
